Seriously, what was I thinking?

I'm still around, I swear.

I'm still doing some massive work on my homegrown blog at http://punkfrogproductions.com .... lots of work to do, lots of coding. Some day it'll properly be up. Unless I manage to change design for the 80 billionth time.

What is everyone up to these days? Doing awesome things, I hope. Me? Scraping by, still working at Gee Tee Em, but am now in Marketing/E-Commerce. Still not sure how I feel about it. I'm still listening to obscene amounts of music, spending ridiculous amounts of time with a camera and Photoshop, avoiding creepers and trying to stay warm. This winter has been ridiculous in Kansas.

That is all I've got right now, friends. You typically know where to find me, and probably are following me in those places already. But to those of you who aren't/don't, let me know and lets reconnect!

Hello!

I just thought I'd say that, yes, I am still around... I do read this thing, but I just haven't posted a whole heck of a lot in quite a while.

I suppose a quick update wouldn't hurt...

I'm still working at GTM Sportswear as a photographer/web monkey. I also shoot photos of bands in bars at night. I'd love to get paid for this at some point.

Thats basically it... life is a lot of work lately. Hoping to graduate from school next year and continue on with my masters in photography.

Been working on my actual website and will announce when its officially live. Its there now, but its not polished by any means.

I hope all is well with everyone out there in LJ land. I have a feeling I stay in contact with most of you through other means (email, twitter, facebook, etc)... but if not, feel free to leave me a comment with where I can indeed contact you at!

Half the adventure...

... is getting there.

After a 3 hour drive to KC (It takes 2 or less hours. Ridiculous) through snow and ice... I got to KCI. Got on the plane. Flew to Denver with only a minor delay as the plane needed to be de-iced and anti-iced. Seriously looked like they sprayed Rain-X on it, then the slime from You Can't Do That on Television or the Ghostbusters movie. Once we got past.. about Manhattan heading west... it was clear as can be. It was our time to get some snow I guess.

So am I in Vegas yet? I should be. Instead I'm sitting on the floor at Gate B37 at DIA. My flight that was supposed to have an hour and and change of a layover.. ended up with a delay instead. Looks like its been delayed again to 5:04 MST. Thats in a little less than an hour.

Thank goodness DIA has ~~crappy~~ free wifi.

Should I be geeking out about this?

Okay, we all know I'm a bit of a dork. That should come as no surprise. I was driving along I-70 yesterday when Cane, the DJ on XM 47 (I have no idea what it is on Sirius.. 16? Its whatever Alt Nation is), says something about how he can't give out the myspace page or anything he used to use for Ethel and such, but if you look him up on Facebook, to go ahead and add him as a friend.

Alright, I can't lie here, I've had a crush on this guy since he used to work for VH1. And when he was on Sex and the City for ONE episode. So I looked him up. And added him. And within 5 minutes I've got a note back saying he approved a friend request.

And then I wake up this morning to a comment on my wall about one of my quotes on my page.

I am really geeking out that he took the time to even *read* my profile, let alone comment on it. I shouldn't even be writing this right now, its just after my first alarm clock went off, I could be getting another.. 45 minutes of sleep. But I don't think I can, simply because of that.

Granted, its not like he's some megasuperultrastar celebrity, but still, it gives me this awesome feeling about how there are well-known people in the world that are not so stuck on themselves that they took a whopping 5 minutes to write back to a person they don't even know.

Actually I am pretty sleepy, maybe I'll try for that 45 minutes of sleep again :)

And yes, god damn right, its a beautiful day...
